"The Teacher" Collector's Edition Print is based upon an original oil painting  by Danny Warhole in 2024. 
 
The title of the painting, "The Teacher," is a double entendre. Most obviously, the title comes from the body language of the two models in the painting. The figure on the left appears more dominant, like a teacher. He leads the figure on the right through the placements of his hands on his partner's body. In addition, the title of the painting is an homage to Danny’s mentor in oil painting, Roy DeVries, who met with Danny weekly to guide him through the process of creating this painting’s various layers and nuances.
 
The painting was inspired by a photograph by San Diego-based photographer Xing She, with the photographer’s permission. The models are Mr. Bradford (IG: @mrbradford7) on the right and Kevin McDonald (IG: @yourfriendkevin_) on the left. 
 
The artwork is printed on Fine Art Giclee Water Color Paper, Canson 310gsm. The front of each print is hand-numbered and signed by the artist. 
 
 
 
The prints is 11x14" (limited edition of 50. The image measures  9x 12" on the paper.
 
The price includes free US shipping. The print may be rolled and shipped in a cylinder. If you would ike to guarantee that the print is shipped flat, please reach out to the artist (additional fees may apply). 
 
Framing is availble for an additonal cost. The standard frame is a museum quality natural walnut shadowbox custom frame with UV-protective acrylic front and hanging hardware. Please allow 4-6 weeks for custom framing and shipping. Framed items are non-returnable.
