"The Rumors Were True" Collector's Edition Print is based upon an original acrylic paitning by Danny Warhole in 2025.
The painting set out to capture the queer haven that was Palm Springs in the 1950s and 1960s, drawing inspiration from the Mid-Century Modern lifestyle captured in vintage copies of magazines like Palm Springs Life and the photography of Slim Aarons, particularly the photograph, "Poolside Gossip" taken at the Kaufmann House circa 1960.
The artwork is printed on Fine Art Giclee Water Color Paper, Canson 310gsm. The front of each print is hand-numbered and signed by the artist.
The prints come in two sizes: 16x12" (limited edition of 200) and 18'x24" (limited edition of 100). The 16x12" print has an approximate .75" white boarder. The image measures 13.5" x 10" on the paper. The 24x18" print has an approximate 1.25" white boarder. The image measures 21"x15".
