Danny Warhole has been selected as an exhibiting artist at the Cleveland Leather Awareness Weekend’s (CLAW’s) Kinky Art Show juried by The Tom of Finland Foundation (ToFF). The Kinky Art Show is part of CLAW’s annual Leather Getaway in Los Angeles, California from November 23 to November 26, 2023.
The Tom of Finland Foundation (ToFF) was established by Durk Dehner and his friend Tom of Finland. The Foundation’s purpose is to preserve the vast catalog of Tom of Finland’s work and offer a safe haven for all erotic art in response to rampant discrimination against art that portrayed sexual behavior or generated a sexual response. Today ToFF continues in its efforts of educating the public as to the cultural merits of erotic art and in promoting healthier, more tolerant attitudes about sexuality.
CLAW Corporation is a National Leather Charity that hosts three events each year -
CLAW in Cleveland, Leather Getaway in Los Angeles, and Virtual CLAW online. Their events create awareness and raise much needed funding for hundreds of national LGBTQ causes. Only because of the generous support of volunteers, sponsors, donors, and benefactors have they been able to distribute over $970,000.
CLAW’s Annual Leather Getaway is quickly becoming one of the largest gatherings of tribes in the LGBTQ+ fetish community. As an all-encompassing weekend of skills & education classes, kink vending, inclusive socials, game shows, speed dating, sex-positive events, dinners, cruising, and more (all under one roof), the Leather Getaway's fetish focused weekend won't disappoint.
The Leather Getaway is not a title competition, but rather serves as a fundraiser with proceeds from the event going to local and national LGTBQ+ charities. To date, the CLAW Corporation has disbursed nearly one million dollars to more than fifty beneficiaries.
